Our 2024 Fins Up Festival begins a tradition

Fins Up Festival sets the stage for giving

The above photograph is early during our this year's Fins Up Festival & provided by Phil Vizzini Photography. The event was an overwhelming success with over 1500 attendees enjoying the exhibits, music, sights & sounds in perfect weather on this past Labor Day Sunday. As a tribute to Jimmy Buffett & celebration of the original charter of the Town of Wrightsville Beach, the event highighted some of the best groups & activities of our beach. Music was provided all day by both The Moto's, a well known Wilmington cover band & Captain Mike & the Shipwrecked, a regional Jimmy Buffett tribute band. Imaging was provided by the Cape Fear Living LIFE ON THE WATER photo contest & the Marshall Morgan Project. Dermatology Associates provided free skin cancer screenings throughout the day. Fund-raising was being held through our raffles & siltent auctions, merchandise sales , as well as sponsroed VIP tables & direct donations. We want to thank everyone who attended, supported or exhibited for their help & support!
